Biography

Ahmed Mohammed Nor received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 2016 and the M.Sc. degree under thesis titled “Performance Evaluation of MmWave in 5G Networks” from Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt in 2019. Currently, he is an early stage researcher within MObility and Training fOR beyond 5G ecosystems (MOTOR5G) project under the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) Innovative Training Network (ITN). Also, he is a PhD student at Department of Telecommunications, Polytechnic University of Bucharest.

From Aug. 2016 to Aug. 2018, he was a Research Assistant at Aswan Wireless Communication Research Center. From May 2018 to Sept. 2021, he was a Teaching Assistant at Faculty of Engineering, Aswan University. His current research interests are 5G and beyond networks, intelligent reflecting surfaces, millimeter wave, visible light communication, positioning and radio resource management.
